It's Not Fair

God's sovereign choice in salvation often raises questions about fairness, but Paul addresses this in Romans 9:14-18 by affirming that God is never unjust. Salvation depends entirely on God's mercy, not human effort or will. All humanity stands condemned in sin from birth, making mercy—not justice—our only hope. God demonstrates His glory both through showing mercy to some and allowing others to follow their natural rebellion. While we may struggle to fully understand this tension between divine sovereignty and human responsibility, we're called to trust God's perfect wisdom and thank Him for undeserved grace rather than demanding fairness.
